Small update with formes added to existing Pokemon.
Honedge, Doublade, Zygarde, Solgaleo, Lunala, Marshadow, Reshiram, Zekrom, Black Kyurem and White Kyurem are the Pokemon with added formes.
Due to the way Aegislash was added with the Shield Forme as the base, non-snowflake Honedges and Doublades will have the new Sheathed forme. And the snowflake ones will have the old sprite and evolve to the Blade forme Aegislash.
Shiny sprites for Castform formes have been updated. If you're still seeing the old ones, you can either wait a bit or clear your browser cache.
Pokedex counters have been reworked to use less server resources. And instead of showing numbers such as <5 or <10, the counts will be rounded up to the nearest multiple of 5.
Due to changes made, newly added pokemon or formes may appear as uncaught on these counters for a few hours.
Pokemon Exp leaderboards that were previously simply hidden have been removed to save on server resources.
We've had to downgrade our servers a couple of months back to keep up with rising costs. Reworking or removing resource intensive features such as the ones above helps to keep the game running smoothly.

Implemented a Trade Tax when trading High Exp (above 10 mil)
While the game will tell you how much tax is going to be levied, You can use the Tax Calculator to see the breakdown.
For Exact Exp ethusiasts, users will be able to choose to pay additional exp as tax to make the final exp exact by rounding down the exp to the nearest million.
This option of rounding down the exp will be available for the user offering on the offer page, and for the person accepting the offer on the trade accept page.
New trade logs will contain the total tax applied to the trade along with the approximate exp of the pokemon displayed.
Pokemon with three stat (3S) will no longer be displayed when making an offer on QuickTrades to prevent accidental offers.
Pokemon with more than 10 million exp will also not appear when offering on QuickTrades
The Trade Tax is also applied on QuickTrades, but is not applied on Wonder Trades at this time.
The pokedex will now show approximate numbers when only a small number of a pokemon have been caught.
Forme collectors can now track their forme collection. Details can be found on the Hidden Features page.
News and Events are now posted in a new section of the Forums instead of on Twitter.
Pokemon Limit per account, which was previously 12,000, has been increased to 15,000. The total limit across all your accounts remains the same. Correct numbers can be found on the Questions page.
Users ranked under 10k will simply show as unranked.
The Pokemon Exp leaderboard is now hidden from the menus to discourage pointless exp training for vanity.

New battle modes in Live Battle. Random Teams and Mirrored Random Teams.
The new modes generate a team for you to use in Live Battle.
These pokemon are not added to your account. They are only used for the duration of one battle.
With the mirrored option, both users are given the same team, with the same pokemon stats.
The snowflake icon next pokemon should now give you more information as to what forme/sprite variant it is or what forme it might evolve into
These pokemon do not have any effect in battle as of yet. This will change in future updates along with Dynamax.

Thanks to people's contributions via Patreon, we haven't had to disable any site features since the last update. The Exp Leaderboard has since been re-enabled.

To cope with the move to smaller and cheaper servers we've had to disable the Pokemon Exp Leaderboards.
For the same reason, we may need to disable/remove other features from the game in the coming days and weeks to keep the game running smoothly.
These may not be announced separately, so please do not report such removals as bugs.
Accounts that have still not brought their pokemon count to below 10,000 will soon have their extra pokemon automatically released.

Added setting to let users disable Messaging on their accounts.

Very high exp training is limited to accounts with certain number of battles for similar reasons.

In the Blocklist, Newly blocked accounts will be sorted by add date. Those blocked before this update will not be sorted this way.

Secondary accounts will be marked as such when viewing profiles.
It is now mandatory for users, especially those in Leaderboards, to mark all their spare accounts as a Secondary Account.

In very rare circumstances, wild pokemon can run away from battle.
Galar League has been added to the Gyms section.
Some sprites for older pokemon have been updated. These sprite updates and all Gen 8 sprites are courtesy of various Sprite Projects at Smogon. We're grateful to them for helping make this happen. Links to each Sprite Project can be found in our About Page.
In one week, the limit on the number of pokemon in accounts will be reduced to 10,000. With a Maximum of 20,000 across all accounts used by an individual. If you have more than this number, please trade away or release these extra pokemon You will still be able to trade out or release these pokemon after the account limit is reduced. This is to help us cope with server costs.
A random trainer will now always challenge you on the Trainers page. On winning the challenge battle, you will receive some bonus exp.
The Public Logs link is now displayed more prominently, so that we can have more eyes on the activities of top players

Latest pokes will show up in trade search
Pokemon that were put into trade more than 1 month ago, and its owner hasn't logged in, will not show up in trade search
Most pokemon lists including your pokemon box and trade box now show the pokemon, you recently made changes to or received, at the top rather than showing it in the order that they were caught
The Accept/Deny page of your trades will now show you if you have the offered pokes or not.
Other people's pokedex can now be browsed like your own
The limit on legends has been removed. You should be able to catch legends you already have.

Arceus (Unknown) has been removed from the game due to frequent issues and complaints relating to its sprite (This was removed from the video games in the 5th generation)

Isshu Pokemon and Gyms: The Isshu Pokemon and Gyms have been added. Like any other region, you will have to defeat the Isshu Gym Leaders and Elite Four to catch any of the Isshu Legendary Pokemon. Isshu is the region from Pokemon Black and White
Facebook Link: You can now link your PokemonDeluge account with your Facebook profile. This lets you log into PokemonDeluge automatically as long as you're logged into your facebook account. And yes, you can link multiple accounts.
Short URLs: This lets you share links to your account that are shorter and easier to remember. For example, one could link to the Admin's account with https://pkmn.pw/Admin/profile. Check the wiki for more Info
BBCode in Private and Profile Messages: [b](bold),[i](italic) and [u](underline) can be used within profile messages and private messages now. Also links to pages within PokemonDeluge.com are now clickable.
Pokemon Locations: The Pokemon locations have change quite a bit and the new locations are reflected in the PokeDex. (locations mentioned are more reliable that they were in previous versions)
Trainer Battle: After a lot of requests asking for Computer Trainers other than Gym Leaders and Elite Four, more than 100 Trainers have been added. These include trainers with low levelled pokemon and also stronger trainers with level 100 pokemon.
Better Pokemon Search: Pokemon search within your box and also Trade search are now faster and the bug that disallowed searching of pokemon with spaces in the names has been fixed.
Status Ailments in Battles Fixed: Pokemon can now (again) be poisoned, paralyzed, etc (Sorry for not fixing it till now)
Rearrange Attacks: Attacks of any pokemon can now be rearranged. Simply click on Change Attacks and then select Rearrange Attacks
When you try to evolve a pokemon, you are now shown whether you already have the evolved form of that pokemon or not.
New Attacks on Evolve: Attacks of the evolved form of a pokemon are now available for free when you evolve your pokemon. You will be allowed to choose which attacks you want to keep and which ones you want to be forgotten.
Ignore Users Feature: You will now be able to ignore annoying users on PokemonDeluge. Once ignored, that user cannot message you or offer on any of your pokemon
